National Certification Prerequisite

ABICE qualifies as a prerequisite to apply for the National Certification for Educational Interpreters of Spoken Languages.

2026 Cohorts (Virtual)

(FULL) Cohort 1: Course runs from 9/21/2026 to 11/2/2026

Live sessions (Mondays): 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am CT.

Cohort 2: Course runs from 10/12/2026 to 11/23/2026

Live sessions (Wednesdays): 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, and 11/18 from 11 am to 1 pm CT.

2027 Cohorts (Virtual)

Cohort 3: Course runs from 01/11/2027 to 02/22/2027

Live sessions (Tuesdays): 01/12, 01/19, 01/26, 02/02, 02/09, and 02/16 from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm CT.

Cohort 4: Course runs from 02/01/2027 to 03/15/2027

Live sessions (Fridays): 02/05, 02/12, 02/19, 02/26, 03/05, and 03/12 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am CT.

Cohort 5: Course runs from 04/05/2027 to 05/17/2027

Live sessions (Fridays): 04/09, 04/16, 04/23, 04/30, 05/07, and 05/14 from 11 am to 1 pm CT.
